Royal Tunbridge Wells & Leeds Castle

A short hop, skip and jump and we arrive at the Georgian spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells where you can enjoy the local shops, cafes and bars available along the “Pantiles”.

This afternoon we take in the “Loveliest Castle in the World” the sensational Leeds Castle, having been home to royalty, lords and ladies for over 1000 years this masterpiece offers an array of attractions.

Bodiam Castle & Sissinghurst Castle Garden

Today we visit the 14th century moated Bodiam Castle, one of Britain's most romantic and picturesque castles.

We also call at the Sissinghurst Castle Garden, created by Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson, the intimate grounds of this Elizabethan mansion offer romantic little compartments filled with colourful floral displays and unspoilt lakeside and woodland walks.

Penshurst Place, Gardens & Chartwell

This morning we make our way to Penshurst Place and Gardens a 14th century manor house and once the property of Henry VIII, the stunning 11 acres of walled gardens offers beauty at every turn.

Our second visit is to Chartwell, the former family home and garden of Sir Winston Churchill.

Steeped in history, many of the rooms remaining are as they were when he lived here!
