Today we will call at Alum Bay famous for its 21 colour sand cliffs and the Needles that go out into the channel.
Yarmouth offering stunning views over the Solent, Sandown famous for its pier and long stretches of sandy beaches, Bembridge, one of the most upmarket areas on the island and Ryde the second largest town on the Isle of Wight.
Enjoy a visit to the well-known English Heritage site – Queen Victoria’s favoured osborne House.
With entrance included this grade II listed building is surrounded by stunning gardens which have recently undergone restoration.
Following our visit here we head for the port of Cowes where you can enjoy the local shops, Cowes Castle or walk along the Esplanade.
Enjoy the sight of powerful majestic steam engines, the charm of quiet rural stations, and the friendliness of
traditionally uniformed staff at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway.
We enjoy a return journey from Havenstreet.
We will also call at the village of Godshill, with picturesque thached cottages.
We enjoy a day at leisure in Sandown, famous for its pier and long stretches of sandy beaches.
Our hotel is ideally located opposite Sandown’s golden beach and a 5-minute walk from the Pier.
Guests can enjoy classic British cuisine in the elegant restaurant and bar offers light snacks and beverages.
The Green Room leisure centre has sea views and offers indoor bowls and table tennis, and there is also a games area with a pool table and darts.
All of the en-suite rooms are bright and airy, they feature a flat-screen TV, work desk and tea/coffee facilities.
