This morning we call at Harrogate for a comfort break and time to have a look around at the attractive spa town.

Llangollen and the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct

Today we journey over the magnificent Horseshoe Pass to Llangollen.

Enjoy some free time in this picturesque Victorian town before making the short journey to Froncysyllte, where we take a cruise along the canal over Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

Returning to Llangollen onboard the famous Llangollen steam railway.

Chester

After breakfast this morning we check out of the hotel and visit nearby Chester, home to the largest Roman amphitheatre in Britain, a cathedral and ‘The Rows’, traditional black and white half timbered shops that surround Chester’s shopping centre.

This afternoon we begin our journey home, arriving back at your original joining points this evening.
