Haworth 1940’s Festival

Do not miss the Haworth 1940s Weekend, as Haworth village goes back in time when thousands of visitors, mostly in costume, swell the streets of the village and take the whole atmosphere back to the 1940’s.

On parade are the local Home Guard and there is a collection of military and period vehicles.

Enjoy live music from 1940s sweethearts, Amanda Beaumont and Kitty Lamare and a tea dances in Haworth Park and The Parsonage.

There are stalls and refreshments at the Methodist Church. The Yanks are coming! – with singer and trumpeter Ricky Hunter.

Skipton & Canal Cruise

After a leisurely morning and breakfast, we make our way to the charming market town of Skipton - known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

Enjoy ample time to visit the local shops or ancient castle. In addition, we have included a canal cruise where you can sit back, relax and watch the world go by as we travel along part of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
