Talyllyn Railway and Barmouth
This morning we head to the historic, steam-operated railway which runs for 7¼ miles through the beautiful Fathew Valley from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn.
After our train journey we head to Barmouth located on the coast of Snowdonia, with its a long sandy beach, picturesque harbour and dramatically beautiful Mawddach estuary.
Spend some time exploring before we return to the hotel.
Betws-y-Coed & Bodnant Gardens
We first pass through impressive Beddgelert this morning, winners of 'Europe in Bloom' on route to Betws-y-Coed for some free time.
After lunch we travel along the scenic Conwy Valley to the famous Bodnant Gardens, covering over 80 acres it is one of the finest gardens in Britain.
We return to the hotel this afternoon along the opposite shores of the Conwy Valley and through the 'Crimea Pass' to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Isle of Angelsey & Penrhyn Castle
Today we travel north to the Isle of Angelsey, our first stop is at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch for coffee and the Pringle Woollen Mill.
We then continue on to Penrhyn Castle, a 19th century fantasy castle with spectacular contents and grounds sitting between Snowdonia and the Menai Straits.
